I don’t have health insurance at the moment, can’t afford it AND tuition. I’m against the public option and single payer. That is a silly straw man argument to claim that all those against government run healthcare don’t understand what it is like to be without.
Can we please have an actual debate on the facts instead?

What I’d like to ask those who are against the public option is how they receive their health care? Are the one of the thousands that do not have health care? Or are they perhaps the other population that is in heavy amounts of debt from receiving dire services that was not covered by their Insurance company? Or perhaps they are the others that reap the benefits of working for a conning health care company?

I still love the opposing argument on how this is socialism. There are no other arguments against the public option except for socialism. How does that make any sense? It still bogs me and saddens me that these people aren’t truly researching what the public option is all about. I commend these doctors for getting out there and looking out for their patients.

Yes it is amazing that the media and apprently the adminstration and our representatives are avoiding discussion and coverage of the single-payer option even though many people seem to support it!
