Sophie Dube-Chavanel

Profile

Sophie is a Canadian freelance journalist based in Montreal. In between two travels, she is working in CBC\Radio-Canada’s newsroom. Bitten by the travel bug years ago, she has travelled across Southeast Asia, the Balkans, Western Europe, and Australia with her backpack, producing news reports, articles and documentaries along the way and building her travel photo archives. Recently, she has been reporting on the bush fires in Australia, visiting the devastated areas and telling the stories of those people who have lost everything.
