Elodie Button spent a year living in the Highlands of Guatemala, learning and working with the Mam people. She has since returned to Canada, where she works as a poverty educator. She continues to enjoy simple living, sunshine, trees and mountains, and believes that education and storytelling are powerful forces for global and local change.
