The environment and all animals, should be treated with respect, never forgetting the consequences failing to do that. I certainly don't want to part from Canada's majestic polar bear, who's a great symbol of grace and survival for all of us. We have to realize that protecting animals from extinction is not just about the large cuddly-looking ones (okay turtles are not that cuddly-looking but you get the idea).
